Through renowned advertising agency McCann Prague we were given a brief simple in its phrasing however, hard in its core to create the best mobile operator app. An app that the customers would like to use but which would still reflect certain technological limits of the complex infrastructure typical for mobile operators. What followed was a long and intricate journey but at its end lays an acclamation for best mobile app of the year 2016 in customer care category.
When facing the challenge of creating a network provider mobile app that users would like to be using, we turned our focus to users themselves to find out what their expectations about these apps are and what they actually use them for. After analyzing this insight, we developed a model which we then put into user testing that eventually led to final design.
The Muj Vodafone app is a user-oriented app with simplicity as a main attribute. Despite that it is a complex application that combines over 50 unique screens that together enable users to completely manage their accounts without having to call the provider or using the internet browser.
